Learn and experience the feeling of New York influence in your salsa dancing with these two master's of the styles. 📅Date: Saturday 7.12. 🕛Time: 12:00 - 16:00 📌Location: Helsinki Salsa Academy (Isonnevantie 16B) 📌You can choose to try one or all of the different workshop classes. We recommend you to experience all of the different styles and flavors to add more flavour to your salsa dancing. No partner needed. All classes are focusing on your individual style, body movement, technique, and musicality. These classes are recommended for all levels of dancers. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Selene moved to Mexico City to immerse herself in the world of music. 2010 marks the start of the second stage of her dance career when she partnered with world renowned Rodrigo Cortazar. Their unique musical partnering style quickly gained them popularity and by 2011 they started having international impact as they participated in various Salsa congresses and festivals around the world. Selene's growth as a professional Salsa dancer can be attributed to her working closely with some of the most influential salsa instructors in the world such Eddie Torres, Tito and Tamara, Franklin Diaz, Juan Matos and Adolfo Indacochea. This time she will join forces with Enrique Jarguin and to share her vast knowledge of the dance and music to Helsinki Salsa Academy. 🎩ABOUT ENRIQUE ⭐️ Enrique Jarguin is a world renowned salsa dancers and choreographers originally from Mexico. He has lived and taught in many different salsa festivals and events around the world. Together with his ex-dance partner Lorenita Andrade they also became well-known in the salsa festival scene in Europe receiving standing ovations on their performances. Enrique is known for his creativity and musicality along with his vast knowledge of mambo and salsa. This time together with Selene Tovar they will be performing something for the world for the very first time.
