Alongside being great social dancers, they are core community leaders teaching regular classes in London with a wealth of experience in choreographing, performing and competing. They have learnt from many hustle workshops internationally, whether that be in Europe, US or Asia- most recently Taiwan - and like many new gen hustlers, their street dance backgrounds (including waacking and house) add dimensions to their hustle style. Together, they enjoy the playful, musical and performative elements to hustle yet are always mindful of refining their technique, keeping connection and listening to their partners. In terms of competing, they represented London on an international level becoming finalists at Feel Your Body hustle competition last year with memorable and creative rounds. Yee Ting had a particularly eventful 2024, taking the jack and jill follower win at ChicChic Hustle Seoul night, winning the Bookends competition in New York with Christy, taking the jack and jill follower win in Hustle Van Jamme in Vancouver as well as placing 2nd with her team in the crew battle. Although they have accomplished a lot in their dance journeys already, Damola and Yee Ting are consistently eager to keep growing within the dance and deepen their understanding. Simply said, they just love dancing and are very excited to visit Łódź, to connect with the community and bring some London flavour! Who Can Join: This is an open-level workshop, welcoming dancers of all experience levels – from complete beginners to those with advanced hustle skills. See you on the dance floor in the summer!
