HVSD Pre-Dance Workshop: Swing the F*@k Out!

The not-so-basic "basic step" of Lindy Hop, the swing out takes time and practice, and is oh so satisfying once you get the feel of it. As one of the core moves of swing dance, it's well worth learning and deepening your understanding of the swing out as it will open up a world of possibilities in your social dancing. It will be helpful if you are already comfortable with the basic 6 and 8 count rhythms, but not necessary. The workshop runs approximately 1.5hrs, 5:30-7pm at The Dance Conservatory (TDC) prior to our monthly social dance. Please arrive at 5:15pm to check in. No partner needed. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to sweat in (bring your Halloween costume separately to change into for the dance after) 🎟 Workshop Fee: $25 per person $20 if you stay for the social dance (separate payment for social dance at the door) Payment: Cash or Venmo (@hvswingdance).
