KENSINGTON GARDENS BANDSTAND ONE-OFF - Only milonga in the Kensington Gardens Bandstand in 2025. NOTE that this will be held in the Kensington Gardens Bandstand and NOT in the Hyde Park Bandstand. (Avoiding competition for the space from the Salsa dancers) Hyde Park Milonga is at Kensington Gardens on Saturday, 18 October 2025. The bandstand has been beautifully refurbished. The floor is wooden so easier on the feet. The acoustics are superb. 13:30 > 17:30 ++ Note that, unlike Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens closes soon after sunset, which is at 18:00 so the park closes at 18:30 now. Music will be a smooth tsunami of traditional 30, 40s and 50s Golden Age and luscious Silk Age 50s, 60s and 70s with maybe one or two period alternative tandas in the four hour.
