Imperial Fiesta Latina - LIVE Latin Music

Brought to you by Imperial College Dance Club, Latin American Society and a brand-new Latin Music project pioneered by Imperial Students! Join us for a breathtaking evening of Latin American Music, dance and culture! The night will begin in Metric at 7.30pm with Salsa classes to get everyone moving! There will be an Introductory Salsa class taught by Matías, Latin American Soc President, for new beginners, and a special workshop for more advanced dancers! Alongside the beginners class we will hold a Salsa Shines Jam! Led by Oz, Cao An and Yimini from IC Dance Club, each will teach a simple footwork combination, followed by body movement, styling and syncopations to jazz it up! A new Latin band led by Miguel Nava of IC Big Band, and a group of super talented Latin musicians will provide us with a full hour of the best Salsa and Cha cha music! Don’t miss the debut of this ground-breaking group 😍 The one-and-only DJ Alex Rasero (yes, THAT Alex Rasero!) will be keeping us grooving to the sounds of Bachata, Salsa, Reggaeton, Merengue and other Latin rhythms until 1am!
