Come join In Lak'ech Dance Academy for our 4th Annual Noche de Catrinas Social! On Saturday, November 6th from 3-9pm at Que Rico Night Club! This will be a Queer Afro Latin Dance party taking place outdoors with special performances by In lak'ech Dance Teams and other Bay Area dancers. 1. Beginner friendly Bachata class: 3-4pm by Angélica & Jahaira 2. Special Performances at 7pm 3. Social Dancing with DJ Ron: 4-9pm You can purchase your pre-sale ticket for only $10. $20 at the door. Individuals with a connection to the cultural heritage of Catrinas and who want to recognize the beauty and power of this cultural icon are welcomed and encouraged to wear attire that honors the history through dress/make-up. We will be selling masks for folks to wear during the social. We want to honor Catrinas while also not encouraging Cultural Appropriation.
