In Lak’ech Dance ~ Bachata & Salsa On2 TRAINING

📣 In lak'ech Dance Academy is excited to announce our 14 week (4 month) Salsa & Bachata Series! This series is all-levels and beginner friendly. Join us for the salsa series, bachata series, or even better, both. Details * Both programs begin Monday, August 1st, 2022 (see dates below) * Includes 21 hours of training per dance form. A total of 42 hours of for both courses * Build your foundation, technique, and social dancing skills while having fun and meeting new people Course Descriptions and Additional Details BACHATA SERIES The Bachata Series is for individuals who are new to Bachata and have little to no experience and/or for folks who want to refresh their Bachata fundamentals and technique. In the 21 hours of training you will receive the following: 🔹Learn 12 Bachata basics, a series of syncopations, and turn patterns for social dancing. 🔹Learn about the history and origin of Bachata music. 🔹Explore the migration and evolution of Bachata music and interpretation. 🔹Introduction to the instruments and rhythms of Bachata. 🔹One class dedicated to Bolero 🔹One class dedicated to Merengue 🔹Special edition In Lak’ech Alumni t-shirt 🔹 At the end of the training, all students will receive a personal 1 min professional video of themselves social dancing, showing off new moves and confidence. (Video production by Newsparx Media) SALSA SERIES Our Salsa On-2 Beginner Training is for individuals who are new to Salsa-On-2 and have little to no experience in this dance from. This 14 week series provides a slow-paced learning environment with the goals of gaining and improving social dancing technique, timing, partner-work, and confidence. In the 21 hours of training you will receive the following: 🔹Learn 20 Salsa/Mambo Footwork & Partner-work repertoire for social dancing 🔹Learn about the history and origins of Salsa music 🔹One class dedicated to Cuban Son 🔹One class dedicated to Cha-Cha/Boogaloo 🔹One class dedicated to Pachanga 🔹Special edition In Lak’ech Alumni t-shirt 🔹 At the end of the training, all students will receive a personal 1 min professional video of themselves social dancing, showing off new moves and confidence.
