He will offer contemplative practices and classes oriented to help us to dive into our contemplative potential, directing it into the embodied openness for the improvisational field of practicing Contact Improvisation. *** We will meet for 5 days, where movement becomes the primary language of contemplative connection. We’ll research the 𝑠𝑢𝑏𝑡𝑙𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 and the 𝑝𝑜𝑒𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑐𝑒𝑝𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 while deepening our practice in a community of CI lovers. *** The Vision Our Meeting will be a creative space for dancers with experience in CI who seek a deeper connection within their bodies while softly connecting to others. It’s a time to ground ourselves in awareness with silent jams, guided by the clear and sensitive presence of Alessandro Rivellino. How to create space for a more effortless, conscious variety of dynamics in the dance? *** This August, you’re invited to engage with sessions, internal movement explorations, and contemplative jams. At dedicated times, silence becomes a teacher, offering the possibility to enter the dance with a mindful presence. Together, we will research: - Proprioceptive and kinesthetic awareness in the dance - A sensitive journey through somatic tools in a supportive and contemplative space. ∙ Jams will be without music or chatting. Voice will be welcome before it becomes a word, and words will be welcome if needed for safety.
