Helsingin suosituimpiin tanssitapahtumiin lukeutuvalla, iloisella In The Mood -klubilla juhlitaan jälleen perjantaina 24.3. Kansallisteatterin Lavaklubilla (Läntinen teatterikuja 1, 00100 Helsinki) klo 21 alkaen! Ilakoimme taas 1920-1960-luvun tunnelmallisen rytmimusiikin tahdissa, kun klubi-isäntä dj Harri Hertell yhdessä dj Bluebirdin ja dj Tom of Swinglandin kanssa tarjoilee menneiden vuosikymmenten parasta tanssimusiikkia! Luvassa on Lavaklubin täydeltä klassista charmia ja menneen ajan lumoa swingin sekä laajemminkin vanhan jazzin parissa. Illan aikana kuullaan luonnollisesti myös kotimaista jazziskelmää sekä satunnaisia valsseja ja tangoja, joiden kautta suuntaamme yhdessä kohti blues, rock n’ roll ja rhytm and blues -hurmosta. Iloinen In the Mood -klubi toivottaa kaikki lämpimästi mukaan tunnelmoimaan! Liput maksavat 8€ (erillistä eteispalvelumaksua ei peritä). Juhlat alkavat klo 21:00 jatkuen aina klo 02.00 asti. Tervetuloa viihtymään vanhan, tyylikkään rytmimusiikin parissa! --- Dj Bluebirdin valikoimissa kuullaan afroamerikkalaisia rytmejä aina tunteita herättävästä bluesista räväkkäämpään souliin, funkiin ja swingiin. Dj Tom of Swingland soittaa Swing-ajan kuumimpia hittejä ja harvinaisempia aarteita myös muista genreistä. Musiikkityylillä ei ole niinkään väliä, kunhan se saa tanssijalan vipattamaan! Find your way down to the National Theatre's Lavaklubi venue (Läntinen teatterikuja 1, 00100 Helsinki) for some classic charm and retro wonder, not to mention the dance floor and its grand host, DJ Harri Hertell. This spring's In the Moods will specialize in varying guest performers, master-DJs of the club's era who together with Harri will give each event a unique and above all danceable atmosphere! In the Mood will still be starting each night off with swing and Dixieland jazz, followed by rock'n'roll, R'n'B and schlager classics, along with other surprise numbers! Special guests of the month are dj's Bluebird and Tom of Swingland. Tickets are 8€ per night (no cloakroom fee). The party begins at 9.00 pm and continues through the night until 2.00 am. We welcome you to come dance and celebrate with us in true style! – Dj Bluebird playes afroamerican rhythms from cool Blues to spizy Soul, Funk and Swing.
