In this workshop we will explore some tools to use our arms and legs and head to navigate up there, to be able to be more confident. And we will also find subtle parts in our body to move from which can help for this work. And we will play with using the balancing for all kind of transitions, that what can make the balancing into 'over-dancing' & 'under-dancing'. And with all of this, we will also improvise and dance, play with the material. Knowing that "balancing" is 'only a tool', and not the whole story of our dancing. Let's see – let's practice- let's play! Come and join this playful Contact-Impro workshop with Sebas. ----------------------------------- ** About Sebas van Wetten ** "I like the playfulness of CI, and I keep searching for ways to stay inspired in dancing and teaching. A healthy way to keep the playing child inside of me alive." For almost 30 years Sebas has been dancing and over 20 years teaching Contact-Impro and Creative Dance. He is also a physiotherapist and uses this knowledge of the moving and learning body in his teaching. He wants to inspire you to find musicality, poetry and expression in your dance. Using images from nature or art and letting you experience anatomy in your own body, he helps you to develop your technique and personal dance. -----------------------------------
