📢📢 Brazilian Zouk - Edinburgh and La Vida proudly presents 📢📢 Wilson Fonseca (BRA/IRL) for the first time in Edinburgh! A unique opportunity to learn from an incredible dancer/instructor! 😍 Wilson will be focusing on Zouk fundamental techniques, control, lead & follow, quality in turns, flow, musicality and lines. The skills you will acquire are transferable to all partner's dance styles. Some sort of couple's dance background and prior knowledge of Zouk basics is required to attend his workshops. PM Hydra Rodrigues for details. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ★★ ABOUT WILSON ★★ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Wilson's first steps into the dance world were taken in Salsa and Samba Rock classes, back in 2011. Not long after, he crossed paths with Zouk and instantly felt in love with it. His quest to master the rhythm started at Solum, one of the biggest schools in São Paulo, as a dance assistant. He studied Brazilian Zouk, Forró, Samba Rock, Sertanejo, Salsa, Bachata, Bolero and Samba de Gafieira. In 2017, he joined Clube Latino dance school, deepening his skills in the latter. In October 2017, he moved to Dublin where he is teaching Zouk and Samba regularly, while helping the dance community to grow. His classes are technical, practical, relaxed and easy to understand. Always working with lines, connection and posture, showing that both leaders and followers are responsible for their dances. His classes are challenging and full of details, but never boring. ;) Known by his clear and soft leading, he incentives the follower to be free and creative. Always focused on tehniques and safety for his partner, he's always studying to improve his knowledge and teaching skills.
