Intermediate Advanced Lesson + Open-Level Practica

*** With Summer Carroll *** Denver Dance Center, 2496 West 2nd Avenue #3, Denver, CO 80223 The Zouk Underground team invites you to join us for an hour-long class focused on the skills which give zouk its beautiful aesthetic, followed by an hour of open-level DJed practica time. This lesson is aimed at intermediate+ dancers who want to take their zouk dancing to the next level. Summer is focusing this lesson on Rio Zouk fundamentals and technique. This is the second of two classes we are offering at a special kick-off price, because we want to help our Denver zouk community grow and flourish. The cost will increase to the community standard rate as we evolve. 730-830 Intermediate/Advanced Lesson 830-930 Open-level DJed practica $10 for class+practica with RSVP and paid in advance. ***See below $12 if paying at the door VENMO: @ZoukUnderground For those who would like to attend the practica but not the lesson, we ask $5 to support our venue and DJ. Because this class is aimed at the intermediate+ skill level, we expect students to have a firm grasp of frente e tras (basic), lateral, viradinha, lunge and simple turn, soltinho, yo-yo, boomerang+bonus, and other L1/L2 movements. We highly recommend experience with basic head movement (and possibly techniques such as frango assado), as well as knowledge on how to protect your spine and neck. Beginners with a basic skillset are absolutely welcome at the 830pm practica!
