Intermediate Practica - NC Zouk Fest: The Fun Continues theme

At the request of one of our organizers (not pointing any fingers) we will have a second intermediate practica dedicated to NC Zouk Fest. We will use the practica to practice any moves or concepts we learned during NC Zouk Fest and have yet to solidify or ingrain into our dance - from tilted turns, role switching, lead and follow styling, musicality or anything else! Think about classes you felt excited about and want to practice and bring that enthusiasm to the dance floor. As always, participants are encouraged to also come and practice moves and topics outside of this theme - let your imagination and ambition run wild! Our practicas are open to intermediate-level dancers (dancing one year of zouk or 2 years of other Latin dances) who know the fundamental moves and dance patterns of zouk and are ready to experiment in learning advanced moves. In this space, we'll experiment with moves we are not yet confident to try on the social dance, moves we've seen on YouTube videos or learned on a weekender and want to ingrain into our dance routine. We ask that dancers consider committing to coming to the practicas as much as possible, so we can create a community that grows and learns together. The practicas will happen every week when we don't have class. They cost $10, and include entrance to the social afterwards. The social will run right after the practica, and will last until 11:00 PM.
