Intermediate Salsa Body Movement Team Information Session & Audition

Find out about our upcoming opportunity to join Madalyn Milazzo's Salsa Body Movement Team Dance Culture is inviting experienced Salseros and Salseras to join us for a no-pressure information and give-it-a-try/audition session. We are seeking experienced Salsa dancers (e.g. Intermediate Level) to try out for Madalyn's Salsa Body Movement Team. ** Schedule - Updated ** Thursday 19th May 2022 6:30pm You are welcome to attend our Salsa Body Movement Fundamentals class as per normal timetable 7:30pm Intermediate Salsa Body Movement Team information session and audition ** Is this for me? ** This course is for both men and women. If you are comfortable dancing Salsa on2 with an existing understanding of and experience with using Salsa Body Movement you are encouraged to join us. We are welcoming not only our existing Dance Culture students but also anyone else who would like to join us. If you are not yet experienced with Salsa Body Movement and/or with dancing Salsa on2, we recommend trying our Beginners Salsa Body Movement class at the same time (6:30pm) for $15 paid at the reception desk. Now is a great time to start getting ready for Madalyn's next team (please note that she will first be on leave for a few months starting as soon as this coming course finishes). ** Investment & commitment ** This information and try-it-out session is completely free. If you are subsequently invited to join the team, please expect to start a 10-week training course the following Thursday at 6:30pm and to invest approximately $330 into the training. The above course details - plus dates for local performance commitments - will be confirmed during the information session. Team members will be expected to follow Dance Culture's Code of Conduct and to attend all training and performance sessions. Exceptions will be made for unforeseen medical issues. Any prior commitments should be communicated to Madalyn at the end of the information session so that she can determine in advance if the resulting absence will cause any problems with the team's preparations. ** How to register ** Please use the "Get Tickets" button (select "1" as the quantity). There is no fee to register to attend the information/try-out session. ** What to wear/bring? ** Please bring water and wear what you'd normally wear for a dance class. ** Location ** This event and its subsequent trainings will be held at Dance Culture, 1st floor, 474 Ipswich Road, Annerley. We are right on the intersection of Ipswich Road and Annerley Road, across from 99 Bikes.
