International Bachata Day - Official Kandy - Sri Lanka Edition

Welcome to our first Kandy - Sri Lanka edition of the global International Bachata Day Event!!! #IBD2019 IBD was initially created as a charity event with the goal of promoting Bachata, a fantastic opportunity to raise social awareness through the art of dance 2019 edition of IBD will bring dancers from all across the globe together, sharing our passion in bachata On top of that, there will a social dance event in every city joining this celebration, creating a safe space for the dance community to express themselves doing what we love most, dancing! Kandy will celebrate the global International Bachata Day by supporting a charity that has a personal meaning to us. This means that all the money raised on this event will be donated to this specific social cause. This year we will be donating the money raised to the Relief Effort Fund by Archbishop of Colombo to support the victims of Easter Sunday Attacks. Because we all know that every little helps, please help us raise social awareness and be part of something big to help change the world our way (through dance) to make it a bit better every day!! Your IBD Kandy Team Vipula, Nuwanthi, Rosh along with the Kandy's Fun Social Dancing Group Date - 26/05/2019 Venue - Dance Zone - Kandy (Opposite British Council) Programme: 4 pm to 5 pm - Open level Bachata Workshop ( Absolute beginners too are welcome to join) 5 pm to 8 pm - Sundown Dance Entrance - Free for students, 500/- for guests Donations from all and 500/- entrance fee collected from guests will be donated to the Relief Effort Fund by Archbishop of Colombo to support the victims of Easter Sunday Attacks
