Kizomba has arrived in Greek Town at the Ambassador Public House located at 310 S. Halsted St. Chicago, IL. Sunday November 27th from 7pm-11pm come out and enjoy this new exciting and sensual dance known as Kizomba in a silent party format! Silent parties are sweeping the country and are the new wave of partying where the party-goer is in total control of their musical environment. Silent party headphones allow the listener to choose from three different channels playing music. On the blue channel will be 100% Kizomba with Guest Dj Kimani Rashad(Afro-Cuban/America). On the red channel will be special guest DJ Helio Rocha Mexico/America (including Plug 1 Djs and Dj X-Stacey playing nothing but the hits (house, salsa, bachata, R & B, Ol Skool, etc.), on the green channel will be dancers choice (bring your favorite mp3 player, cell phone, or tablet and play your own music with a 2 song max if others are waiting). So come out and enjoy a night of International music and the one dance that's bringing us all together... KIZOMBA!!!
As a very special treat starting at 730pm and ending no later than 8pm Ken Amorio will be teaching an intermediate dance saaida that both experienced and new dancers will enjoy!
Immediately following the dance lesson [Julia Korsakoff's (Russia) song "I Am Looking For You" Kizomba remix by Jacob Heiss will be played on the Blue Kizomba Channel!
Looking for a bite to eat or a drink? Look no further! The Ambassador Public House has a full bar with courteous staff and a menu that includes "an all day brunch" with your choice of one of the following: Build your own omelet, New York strip steak & eggs, Irish breakfast sandwich or the traditional Irish breakfast meal. The Ambassador Public House also has an assortment of burgers & sandwiches throughout the day including fish & chips, chicken wings, ribeye steak, Veggie burgers, Angus Beef, chicken breast, pulled pork, onion rings, various salads, guacamole served with nachos or tortilla chips, and the infamous Chicago Greektown special Saganaki!
The Ambassador Public House has a huge selection of draft beer and although it's located downtown both food & drinks are at reasonable prices!
