International Lindy Hop Day - Trieste's edition

Il 26 Maggio si celebra in tutto il mondo la Giornata internazionale del Lindy Hop. A Trieste la celebreremo con uno Shim Sham di gruppo seguito da qualche ballo. Appuntamento alle 19 o alle 20 presso la Fontana di Barcola. 19-20 - Lezione/Ripasso di Shim Sham ore 20 - Shim Sham di gruppo (a seguire social dance) ------------------------------------------ AAA Due to sudden weather change, we will meet at Freaks Cave (via alle cave 1) at 19:30. On the 26th of May, the World celebrates the Lindy Hop Day. In Trieste, we will celebrate with a collective Shim Sham followed by some social dance. It emerged in Harlem (New York), during the 1920ies and 1930ies and Its roots are to be found in the rich Afro-American history and traditions.
