Join a worldwide movement to promote the dance style of Zouk-Lambada and to unite the world through "the dance of love". *** *** The next session (our third training session, Saturday 17th August) will be the last session that we accept new people for IZFM 2013 in Brisbane. *** The next International Zouk Flash Mob will be held on Saturday 21st September 2013. Brisbane instruction and practice will be held for seven Saturdays and one Sunday leading up to the IZFM Day. Each practice session will be 2 hours. Participant fee: $40 per person (includes remaining teaching & practice sessions and an IZFM T-Shirt to be worn on the day of the flash mob). This is a flat fee that applies whether you attend all sessions or not. New participants will not be accepted after the 4th session or earlier if we have reached capacity. How is this fee used? This fee is used to cover studio hire, insurance, a t-shirt for each participant, promotional expenses, administrative expenses and 'thank you' gifts for the volunteers. How to book & pay: 1. Details are subject to change. ### Volunteering to help run Brisbane IZFM ### Volunteers are needed for the following roles: - Promotion of IZFM to dancers - Promotion of IZFM to media - Music on the day (speakers) - Administration (front desk and attendance) - Assistant instructors (working with smaller groups) - Liaison with venue(s) for the performance If you would like to volunteer to help with IZFM in Brisbane, please contact James Quinn-Hawtin here on Facebook. ### About dance partners ### You do NOT need a dance partner to come and learn the IZFM choreography. That said, a handful of ladies did miss out on performing the flash mob last year because there weren't enough guys. My suggestion is that you find a partner within the first couple of practice sessions.
