"Embodied Intimacy Summer Camp" was founded in 2018, we've spent the last eight years cultivating a field of love and togetherness. Each year, we come together for this annual pilgrimage with a shared intention: to explore and discover new ways to enhance our ability to give and receive love. It's where love, empathy, and compassion flow freely, fostering a powerful transformation. This kind of intimacy is sacred, connecting individuals on spiritual and transcendent levels. 🧘‍♀️ Deep Work + Ecstatic Play 🤸‍♂️ We believe in the power of combining deep work and ecstatic play. We will dance, play and explore together, all while bringing more and more awareness and love to what's happening in relationship to one another. We will play with our edges to both go within and reveal ourselves, as well as experiencing ecstatic bliss and innocent, child-like play. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦‍‍‍ Authentic Culture Cultivation 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 We will build a culture of trust by speaking the truth. We will care for each other's hearts and experience the solidarity of knowing that we're all in the same boat. You will experience unity by seeing yourself mirrored in everything and everyone. This is a brave environment in which you are invited to bring your deepest desires and greatest fears of connection. Here we can coexist in a delightful mix of attraction, aversion, grief, gratitude, and more. Our collective intention is to love and welcome whatever arises in and between us with open arms. The place is located at Bråviken's southern beach, opposite to Kolmårdens Zoo, 20 km from Norrköping and 150 km south of Stockholm. The scenic and undisturbed location provides space for both silence and experience. Here you will find forests, meadows, cliffs and a long beach, as well as a delicious apple and cherry dale. Nature grows wild and grows in a harmonious synergy filled with oaks, linden, chestnuts, silver pine and cherry trees. Through the area goes “Via Amorosa” — The Love Trail, where you can wander with new or old friends. Dorm style accommodations are included in the price of your ticket. You will sleep indoors in a beautiful, clean space on a bed. We recommend you provide your own bed sheets and towel, however the venue can provide for you at an additional cost to be paid in cash at the venue. Once you have registered you will be sent a form to select this option. 🎈Are room upgrades available? Yes. If you would like to upgrade your room you can handle this directly with the property. If you want a single room it is 400 SEK extra per night or part of a double room 200 SEK per person per night. 🍦What type of food is provided? Included in the cost of your ticket is 3 meals per day with tea and snacks. A variety of beautiful, delicious food will be prepared by the chef. Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free options are all available. You book your train/bus travel using: www.sj.se 🏡 The Hosts 🏡 Intimacy Camp & The Field Founder: Rachel Rickards Rachel is an international leader in the field of personal transformation, intimacy, embodiment, and relating. She is a group facilitator extraordinaire, event producer, and a new mother. In 2014 she co-founded Embodied Intimacy, which has become one of the most respected organizations globally that offers trainings and events focussed on intimacy, trauma, relational intelligence, somatic education and community. Since 2019, Rachel has led the Belly2Belly Facilitator Training after her teacher and mentor, David Cates, passed the torch and CEO position for this work to her. Belly2Belly offers a simple and yet profoundly healing set of embodied and relational practices, which support people to learn to regulate their nervous systems in a way that can be transformational for their relationships. Rachel’s newest passion project launched in 2022, “The Field Facilitator Training.” This is a revolutionary new experiential learning environment for upcoming group facilitators who are passionate about creating fields of deep group-heart coherence and learning how to facilitate group soul emergence.
