Into the Light - Winter Solstice Dance

Join us for a special Dream Dance event to honor the Winter Solstice led by Heeraa Sazevich, certified 5Rhythms® teacher. This session will begin with foundational teachings of the 5Rhythms moving meditation practice followed by space to dance and integrate. Marking the solstice with deep, embodied intention, we release into the embrace of darkness making space for the light to shine more brightly. Held by the safe and spacious container of the 5Rhythms® movement practice, this dance is open to ALL levels of experience and abilities. With the intention to let go of this past year's challenges and honor our joys, we catalyze and embody our moving forward unencumbered into 2023. The 5Rhythms: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness, support us in letting go and opening up new, creative possibilities. Producing and playing for raves in Kyoto, Japan in the 80s led to exploring dance as meditation in the Osho ashram in Pune, India for 7 years. Committed to a life of exploring dance as a path to Presence, Heeraa founded Ecstatic Dance Hawaii in Honolulu, building and leading the community for over 12 years.
