Intro-meeting for new organizers for CPH:LX-2023

CPH:LX (Copenhagen Lindy Exchange) is Denmark’s largest Lindy Hop event, and it’s organised entirely by volunteers! Do you want to be one of them? --- Are you curious about organising CPH:LX 2023, or do you perhaps already know that you definitely want to be part of it? Then this meeting is for you! At the meeting we’ll be giving an outline of how the event is run and what it means to be part of the organising group. There are many different ways to help out both before the event and/or during the event, and there are several areas where more hands would be great! We invite everyone to contribute their ideas and skills towards making CPH:LX a fantastic event - each group will have great freedom to “take ownership” o their area and put their mark on it. Here is a rough list of the different areas that you can contribute to as an organiser: - Venue - Recruitment - Bands and sound - Tasters, performances, competitions and workshops - Bar - Volunteering and housing - Registration - Merchandise - Marketing and social media - Website and digital If you aren't sure what each area is or what to do, then don't worry. We'll help you find a place where you can contribute. Regardless of whether you'd like to be put on a team and work with others, or simply get an area for you to solve yourself, then we can definitely find some way for you to help out!
