Intro to Cali Style Salsa Part 2 with Andres Ramirez!

Colombian salsa originated in the city of Cali, Colombia (which is why the style is also referred to as “Cali-style salsa”), and it is known for its rapid and intricate footwork as well as the athletic lifts and tricks that are incorporated into their shows and dancing. In this workshop, Andres will be going through basic steps and technique for Cali Style social dancing, plus a combination of steps that are usually used for shines. This workshop is a great compilation of basic Cali Style moves that you can incorporate right away to your dancing and shine on the dance floor! Andres is not only known for Zumba, but is also a well-known Cali Style Salsero! He has taught and performed Cali Style for many years at different events and Salsa Congresses, and is excited to share his passion for this awesome style with all of our students! Don't miss out!
