Intro to Casino (Cuban Salsa)

This class is for anyone and everyone interested in learning Casino - a Cuban dance with the same rhythmic pattern of salsa on 1, traditionally danced to Timba music. You will learn the footwork, leads and follows of the core movements that make a good casinero/a on the social dance floor. The last week of every month we will take these core movements from social dancing and learn how to dance in the formation of a wheel (Rueda de Casino). In this formation, couples dance together in a circle as a caller names the moves you perform together in unison. -no partner needed -no fancy shoes needed -come as you are and have fun!
