🎧 Intro to DJing Masterclass 🎧

My name is Tayler, I’m from Sydney. I grew up in Canada, training as a classical musician from age 3. I learned in a program where we were not taught how to read music, but rather learned to play and memorise everything by ear. I went on to play in many orchestras, and pursued classical violin at the Vancouver Academy of Music. Fast forward a decade and here I am DJing! I am a self-taught DJ for Brazilian zouk who has travelled and played for congresses, weekenders and events in Australia and Internationally. I am also very passionate about teaching, and have spent the last three years developing a course to teach new DJs to hear and create music in a way that is individual and personal to them. In this course, you will learn intro to music theory, how to build a music library, and all the information you need to learn to use DJ software to start mixing and creating your own songs and sets 🥰 All music genres welcome! This course is for anyone looking to dip their toes into DJing, learning to mix their own songs for choreos, or for teachers and students to just make a nice playlist for training at the speed they want to dance to. Also helpful for current or up-and-coming DJs to gain insight into how I DJ. There will also be a special opportunity for a few new or up-and-coming DJs to play a mini set at the party after the workshop with 1-on-1 feedback and support from me.
