Samba de gafieira is a lively social dance from Brazil that is characterized by intricate footwork, spins, and playful interactions between dancers. It combines samba music with African rhythms, tango, and other influences, and it originated in the 1940s in Rio de Janeiro's Gafieira nightclubs.
