Intro to Swing with Ana and Freya

Learn Lindy Hop from the ground up! From swinging and grooving to footwork and shapes, this series will teach all the basic 6- and 8-count figures needed to attend our other monthly lesson series. By the end of this 4-week series, dancers will have a solid Lindy Hop foundation to progress to learning the iconic swingout! No previous dance experience necessary. Lesson: 7:00 - 8.00 PM (please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier for check-in) Social Dance: 8:00 - 10.00 PM (will include Lindy, Balboa, and Blues music) Sliding Scale Pricing (please pay what you can): Lesson + Social: $10-20 Just Social: $5-10 Location: Parish hall at St. John's Episcopal Church, 400 Humphrey Street Parking: There is plenty of street parking on Orange and Humphrey. Spots marked for Church Business is available for us to use. Avoid zoned resident parking spots. The closest free parking lot is Yale Lot 199 (199 Whitney), about a 10 min walk.
