About this Event
Celebrate pride month by taking your first tango steps - Argentine tango is an intimate and expressive partner dance. Queer tango is Argentine tango by and for the queer community!
This workshop will start with a two-hour intro to tango class with Mira & Miranda, followed by a one-hour práctica to practice what you’ve learned and socialize with dancers from the queer tango community. In this workshop all dancers will be invited to learn and practice both roles.
No prior experience and no partner needed. Experienced dancers also welcome - want to get back into tango after the pandemic, brush up your basics, or learn a new role? Join us!
Mira & Miranda are experienced dancers and teachers and excited about introducing you to this beautiful dance.
