IMA Irene Miguel Academy presents THE ARTIST TRACK: A unique approach to help you achieve your dreams! Irene Miguel has been training professional dancers for over 20 years - many of which have reached professional success. She is a dedicated teacher, trainer, and choreographer who focuses on developing her students and helping them reach their dancing dreams. It is for this exact reason she has created the IMA Artist Track, to provide the training required to become a successful dance artist. This is a unique training program designed specifically to help you become the dancer you want to be! WHO IS IT FOR: Dancers of all genders who: - Wish to perform at pre professional level in Salsa, Mambo or bachata - Who are already performing in student teams but wish to develop further - Whose dream is to compete or become a professional artist WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Every Wednesday we will train... - Flexibility and strength - Performance skills - Stage presence - Creative skills for choreography - Costume design - Makeup - Competition skills - Choreography - Spinning - Body movement - Styling - Shines - Partner work for the stage We will also explore... - How to become a well-known dancer and travel the world - How to develop a healthy mindset and focus for performing and competing - How to develop yourself as a product and market yourself - How to create a social media presence WHAT TO EXPECT This class has a big exploration and creativity component. As part of the Artist Track you will both create your own choreographies, learn choreographies, and perform them as part of the IMA Artist Track Team as well as have the opportunity to audition for Irene Miguel's pre-professional company Danzalifestyle Crew. ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS The level expected to join this class is intermediate/advanced. If your level is lower, Irene will advise what you need to do before joining the Artist Track. To join, you must have done the Mambolifestyle system - this is a requirement to join this class. You may do it parallel to the class, but it is crucial to have the minimum level required for the Artist Track.
