Tango workshops with Richard Manuel & Caroline: 1-2.15pm - Beginner / Improver: 2.15-3.30pm - Improver / Intermediate: Salsa Surgery with Nicolai: Following on from Tom's session last week...and getting back to the original philosophy of Sunday School, Nicolai (and guests) will facilitate these regular surgeries where the aim is to tweak & improve your salsa dancing... and help you gain more confidence and skill in your dancing. The session will involve as much practice and 'drilling' as possible. Workshop breakdown: 1-2pm - Footwork, timing, dancing to the music, pace, shines, turning and spinning. 2-3pm - Leading and following tips, connection, spacial awareness, arm work. He has appeared on many shows including : “La Milonga Interna”, “Una noche en Buenos Aires”, “Romance d’Carnaval”, “Ferverosa” “Tangomotion” and “Midnight Tango”. He has designed sets of individual and group exercises to improve alignment, motion, flexibility and awareness; his priorities include music, economy of energy, relaxed embrace, dissociation, orientation into space. He also gives workshops on tango notation which is for him an essential part of his approach to the dance. To implement his training he has studied Skinner release technique, contact improvisation, tai-chi, yoga and butoh. ***********************************
