He has appeared on many shows including : “La Milonga Interna”, “Una noche en Buenos Aires”, “Romance d’Carnaval”, “Ferverosa” “Tangomotion” and “Midnight Tango”. For more information on Richard go to www.tangografia.com His teaching includes analysing the structure of the dance without which you cannot speed up the learning process. He has designed sets of individual and group exercises to improve alignment, motion, flexibility and awareness; his priorities include music, economy of energy, relaxed embrace, dissociation, orientation into space. He also gives workshops on tango notation which is for him an essential part of his approach to the dance. To implement his training he has studied Skinner release technique, contact improvisation, tai-chi, yoga and butoh. *********************************** Tom (Yu-Fei Lin/The Salsa Ninja) Tom started to learn salsa in 2005 with The Latin Quarter where Ces, Nicolai and Alan offered him a warm, welcoming path into the world of salsa. Two years on, with his salsa addiction getting worse and his satisfaction and enjoyment from salsa reaching new highs, he set out to develop his own leading style. Over the last six years, his style and thinking have been influenced by some amazing teachers - Nicky & Gomack, Laucinda & Gareth and Toan & Tina. Constantly improving, refining and evolving his ideas, he has developed his own philosophy and a smooth, effortless technique, focussed on "Comfort, ease and enjoyment for the lady”. His impressive ability to effortlessly lead the ladies into intricate and complicated moves has earned him many nick names - The Salsa Ninja being one of them! He also happens to be one of the best followers in the scene!
