It's A Dancehall Ting!

Stick Mareebo and Zare Demus Productions Present: Dancehall Ting! Join us as we celebrate the vibrant journey of Dancehall music over the last five decades with our monthly event, Dancehall Ting! Saturday, November 7th at Wax Music Lounge—the new home for Dancehall Ting. With the explosion of Dancehall and Afro-beats in the Melbourne dance scene, it’s time to create a space for the students of Jungle City Projects and other Dancehall schools across Melbourne to showcase their skills and passion for the culture. For the first three months, we’re thrilled to feature three resident DJs to cater to your musical cravings: DJ Outsider: Quickly becoming one of the most sought-after DJs for Dancehall events. More Judgment: Flying in from Sydney, he’ll bring the original flavour with a set that includes classic 80s and 90s Dancehall. Zare Demus: An international hype man and a familiar face in the Melbourne Dancehall scene, rounding out our stellar lineup. Each night, Stick Mareebo will treat you to a 2-hour set from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Arrive at Wax Music Lounge between 8 PM and 10 PM for FREE entry into the event! Get ready to dance to: Reggae, Dancehall, Shatta, Kompa, Soca, and Zouk.
