ZOUK INDIA is proud to be a part of the INTERNATIONAL ZOUK FLASH MOB (IZFM) 2013 to be held on 21st SEPT, 2013 (World Peace Day)! And MUMBAI is surely gonna turn the heat on! WHETHER YOU KNOW HOW TO DANCE ZOUK OR NOT, YOU CAN be a part of this unique world-wide phenomenon when the ENTIRE WORLD WILL DANCE TOGETHER! To find out where the practice classes are held, CONTACT: Priyanka, 9930903878, [email protected] IZFM EVENT BACKGROUND: Last year (2012), IZFM was conceptualised by "Zouk Bob" from Perth, Australia to raise awareness about Zouk dancing (Zouk-Lambada, LambaZouk, etc.) throughout the world and spread its love. History was created as over 3500 people from 83 cities in 35+ nations participated in this event, dancing the same routine, on the same day... a lot of them being absolutely new to dancing or to Zouk dance. In INDIA, Zouk dancing didn't really exist and we introduced it & trained working professionals & college students to form one formidable team of Zouk dancers that performed at the popular mall in Delhi - Select CITYWALK! The event was covered by the print & TV media. India became an inspiration to the whole world! Attending the classes and rehearsals will be COMPULSORY if you want to participate. Commitment is paramount as we need to always have a united front. We INVITE dance enthusiasts AND volunteers for coordination, venue scouting, getting sponsorship, assisting the participants with the choreography, photography, filming, editing, media or any other area in which you think you can contribute.
