DJ: Izzy Wise
Hailing from San Francisco, Izzy Wise is a multi-instrumentalist and DJ who produces eclectic dance music that bounces from West Africa to the West Indies, and all points in between.
For more than a decade Wise cut his teeth in San Francisco, DJing at parties like the legendary Afrolicious night and landmark venues like The Independant, Monarch, and 1015 Folsom. He has played bass and horns in many groups performing styles ranging from Turkish, Balkan, Cumbia, Brazilian, Salsa, Funk, and more. His pursuit for unique rhythms and melodies has led him to the jungles of Nicaragua and fabled islands lost in the Caribbean Sea.
When he's not making field recordings and playing in live groups, Wise releases music on imprints like Délicieuse Records, Lips & Rhythm, Mule Musiq, and Cafe Anatolia. His dedication in the studio is unwavering and his original output often reflects a well-blended taste of global dance music, disco, boogie funk and house. Wise also plays live with a variety of instruments that he works into his energetic performances.
His sets are best described as funky underground ethnomusicology courses with hypnotic grooves. Host of the Hi Life Party, a pop up global music party dedicated to all that is beautiful in the world. In 2024 Izzy Wise pushes onward in search of fresh sounds to share with us all on late nights and beautiful sunny days.

Yoga: Satya Gita
Satya Gita is a long-time, devoted practitioner and teacher of yoga. In her more than 20 years of practice, she has studied many forms of yoga, including Jivamukti, Integral, Ashtanga, Standing Wave Yoga, Forrest, and Anusara. Born in Oslo and raised in Trondheim Norway, she studied dance at The London Contemporary Dance School and on Africa’s Ivory Coast before moving to New York to study and teach at Jivamukti. She was also certified at the Integral Yoga Institute and studied Standing Wave.
Satya then created and implemented a yoga program for Harbin Hot Springs, an internationally known retreat center in California. During this time, she founded her own teaching style called Anahatha Yoga, which utilizes physical postures and alignment to open energetic dimensions and pathways in the body. Preparing the body in this way opens the student’s awareness to more subtle dimensions of Being in an embodied way. She has been teaching and developing this form for 18 years, as well as training and certifying others in the approach. She continues to offer classes and workshops using Anahatha yoga to help students deepen in themselves.

Tea Lounge:
Upstairs Tea Lounge: Olivia Marichi (Tea Master Oli)
With over two decades of dedicated practice, Oli has cultivated a profound mastery of Chinese tea and the art of tea ceremony. Her journey began with an enduring fascination for the intricate flavors and traditions of tea, studying at the First Club of Chinese Tea Culture in Moscow in 2000. Immersed in the cultural and historical essence of tea, Oli has explored every facet—from sourcing the finest leaves in the lush tea gardens of Fujian to mastering the meditative precision of Gong Fu Cha. The tea collection is provided by the Kokko Wellness, the place where Classical Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Herbal Medicine, Tea, Nutrition, and Bodywork come together in one harmonious space. Food: Sacred Decadence (Leela Maya)
Leela started her journey as a raw vegan dessert chef in 2007 during the early days of Cafe Gratitude where it first began in San Francisco and Marin County. It was working there that she discovered the power of intention, community, & how truly nourishing food felt like sensual kitchen witch craft for her soul. It was love at first bite. Since then she has been a chef and product developer for local healthy food companies like Urban Remedy and Good Earth.
She is wholeheartedly happy to serve the Bay Area Dance Community in nourishing connection from within.
When she is not playing with her food, Leela teaches Play based Authentic Relating & Connection Classes, Full & New Moon Circles for Womyn+, & Cacao Ceremony Soundbaths. She believes that love, joy, connection, and play are key ingredients to a healthy happy life. Blessed Be and Bon Appétit!
