Session 1: Washing Machines Date: 4-9 Session Time: 10am-1pm Prerequisites: Ninja Stars, Barrel Rolls, and High Barrel Rolls. https://youtu.be/Hz49xyPPyZY Description: Washing machines Acrobats underestimate the importance of washing machines. After all, Jacob and Debbie fell in love with acro and each other while doing them. Through the study of these machines you build up a movement vocabulary which transfers into other areas of acro. Experienced l-basers can flow seamlessly from one pose to the next in complex acrobatic arrangements. We have a good one planned. It is beautiful, complex, and challenging, our favorite kind. ***1pm-3pm Lunch*** Session 2: Whips Date: 4-9 Session Time: 3pm-6pm Prerequisites: Tarzans https://youtu.be/-mGjAPGOi_c Description: Whips are a more difficult type of acrobatics requiring good timing and intelligent movement of feet. Debbie and Jacob have years of experience in this area. We know which teaching methods work and how to keep people safe. Session 3: Icarian Date: 4-10 Session Time: 10am-1pm Prerequisites: Bird pops https://youtu.be/EhJNkkc1rmE Throne pops https://youtu.be/1gbFi-kMOgo Bird to Throne and Throne to bird pops https://youtu.be/fh5MQaprG7M Description: Icarian is named after Icarus from the greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus. Icarus is the one who flew too close to the sun. Don’t worry. We will use spotters! Icarian is full release, meaning it is the most exciting type of acro by far. Debbie and Jacob have been doing a lot more icarian lately. Along the way Jacob and Debbie have learned effective ways to teach icarian to new students. We try to go beyond the usual intro to Icarian class and teach new material. You will learn the technique required to execute them confidently and safely. ***1pm-3pm Lunch*** Session 4: Dance Lifts Date: 4-10 Session Time: 3pm-6pm

Jacob and Debbie have poured through the internet and learned from many teachers to find all the best dance lifts! Dance lifts use momentum to lift the flyer up and down in more graceful movement. In this intensive you will first practice individual lifts and later put them together into a flow. In case we reach the limit of participants, we will take participants in order of registration, with priority given to participants coming to all 4 sessions. COVID Policy We are monitoring the official rules by the Portuguese government and due to this, we may require that participants present digital certificates (vaccination, recovery) and/or negative test. Pricing Policy You get a discount when you pay early because this helps us plan a better workshop. You also get a discount when you pay for all sessions because workshops are better when more people come to the whole thing. You may get single sessions if necessary. Refund Policy You may have a full refund as long as you tell us at least 24 hours before the start of the first class. After that no refunds.
