The Jam Cats live session carries on the legacy of the BLAUE STUNDE - strictly in danceable tempo! - mingling live sessions, concerts and DJ-sets. We want everyone to have fun, dancers and musicians alike with a stage open for early Jazz, Jive, Swing, RnB, and other fun styles to dance to. The jam will be run by members of the Syncopation Society to ensure that the party flows, allowing everyone to dance, or to simply sit back and enjoy the music. ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ENTRANCE 7€ - 10€ sliding scale – all the profit go to pay the venue and the line-up, so please support if you can! ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ DISCLAIMER FOR MUSICIANS Coming out to the JAM CATS grants you free entrance and 1 or 2 drinks if you play. However, this is a DANCE EVENT and it implies to be reactive and to keep your solos short and sweet. If you are up for it, be prepared to be reactive on stage. When you know you want to play, make it clear and talk to one of the night manager. No standing around! There's a piano on the stage with a atmospheric amplification. For now, no kick is allowed, so it's going to be a speakeasy-style instrumentation. Please note there is no Bass on site.
