J&L Unity Social - Silent Party! April 15th

BRINGING SOMETHING NEW TO BOSTON! J&L Unity Social was created in hopes of bringing different parts of our dance community together under one roof. For the dancer who likes to do it all this is for you! This social will be a SILENT PARTY. This means that each social we will have 3 different DJs, playing 3 different styles of music, at the same time! HOW IT WORKS: Guests will receive a pair of special headphones at check-in that allows them to switch between DJ "channels" whenever they want. Dance two salsa songs, then switch to Bachata, then to Kizomba, OR dance one style all night long. The best part? Everyone will be in one place so you can look around the room to find a "red" person to dance Salsa OR go up to someone and say "do you want to dance Kizomba" and switch to that channel. MUSIC STYLES: Each social, we will highlight different DJs and different styles of music from both local talent and abroad. LOCATION: Rumba y Timbal Studio, 7 Temple Street, Cambridge CLASS WORKSHOP: 7-8pm ALL LEVELS Dance class included with entry (dance style will vary) SOCIAL DANCING: 8-11pm COST: $20 (cash only at door-please bring a photo ID to turn in as collateral for headphones.
