This Tuesday, May 27th, we’re bringing the energy, the flavor, and the community together at Abbott Square for a vibrant evening of dance workshops and music that speaks to the soul. We’re starting the night strong with two amazing lessons: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Salsa Cubana with the dynamic Yunior & Emiry – a full hour to get your body moving and connect with the rhythm. 7:00 PM – 7:45 PM Bachata with Jeremy & Whitney from Palomar Ballroom – smooth, expressive, and full of sabor! Then we open the dance floor for a powerhouse DJ rotation, carefully curated to keep you moving all night long: 7:45 PM – 8:15 PM DJ Conga Boy sets the tone with a tropical mix to warm up the dance floor bachata & salsa. 8:15 PM – 8:45 PM DJ Quimbara elevates the energy with irresistible grooves from timba to guajira and, of course bachata! 8:45 PM – 9:15 PM DJ Omambo delivers signature selections of mambo, cha cha cha, and soul-steeped classics with a special mix of bachata, sensual and Dominican bachata. 9:15 PM – 10:00 PM Vinyl Takeover – DJ Omambo, DJ Quimbara, and DJ Conga Boy come together for a special final hour dedicated to the unaltered magic of vinyl records. We’ll be sharing rare gems, collector’s cuts, and the purest analog sound—directly from our cherished crates to your dancing feet.
