Join my 12-week program "Ladies In Motion." In this program you will have the opportunity to develop your own dance style through proper technique, form, balance, posture, spins, body isolation, hand styling and musicality. "Dance is a delicate balance between perfection and beauty." You will learn to incorporate a sensual and confident personality into your dance style. You will learn to be in control of your movements...incorporating Isolations from head to toe...feeling every inch of your body move to the rhythm of your perfection. "Dance first. Think later. It's the natural order." ~Samuel Beckett The process of learning dance choreographies is highly dependent on one's abilities, expectations, goals, and dedication to practice. After you learn dance choreographies, you will be able to execute shines, sexy styling, and footwork patterns. "I see dance being used as communication between body and soul, to express what is too deep to find for words." ~Ruth St. Denis LOCATION: OMNI SALSA DANCE STUDIO WHEN: June 10th ~ August 26th; Every Wednesday, from 7:00 ~ 9:00 p.m. WHAT: This class is designed for ladies who want to improve their dance skills, become advanced dancers, and /or perform before an audience. This is a complete "showbiz experience," including learning a choreography, working on styling (this may include partnership figures, footwork, theatrical elements, and pre-acrobatic tricks, such as splits), attending rehearsals with the other students, and the choice of performing. COST / INVESTMENT AMOUNTS: Class Cost: $300 (Includes: 3 months of Team Practice, concurrently with 3 months of Unlimited Group lessons). As an incentive for taking Private Lessons, performers get a special reduced cost of $30 per/hr. COSTUMES: Performers are responsible for the cost of outfit, alterations, and accessories. PRACTICE ATTIRE:We recommend gym attire; flat shoes, dance heels, or jazz shoes suggested. [We can recommend the what kind of shoes & where to get your shoes] MUSIC: FREE timing practice & salsa choreography CD. NO EXPERIENCE: Ages 16 and up. No dance background is necessary.
