JOSE & LA ROJA 2hrs Bachata Workshop

Bachata will make you feel ALIVE! Street dancers and Bachata Lovers will LOVE this workshop. Take the opportunity and learn from Jose & La Roja, the popular Bachata instructors leading the traditional Bachata craze in Atlanta. Learn how to move your body and feel the music with fun pasitos (steps) that will get you moving with a smile in a safe and friendly environment! This workshop has two parts: a footwork session and a partnerwork session. You will learn the steps that get you moving and then we put them together and dance them with a partner. All levels are welcome, the goal is to have fun not become a pro. Workshop Schedule: 12 PM - Pasitos 1 PM - Dance with Partner (no partner required) Location: The workshop is held at PASOFino Studio's open and spacious 5,000 sqft ballroom great for social distancing. Started dancing in 2011 in many styles focusing in Bachata Sensual/Tradicional, Salsa "On1"/"On2" and Kizomba. La Roja has been a company dancer and has been giving classes at PASOFino since 2019. La Roja specializes in Bachata and she is known for her beautiful hip movement and styling. Jose Maldonado originally from Puerto Rico is a corporate escapee turned Latin dancer. From engineering to a World Salsa Champion title in 2019, Jose has been an instructor since 2001 and taught in 20+ countries around the globe. He served as judge for the World Bachata Masters in Spain 2012-2016, World Salsa Championships 2016 and others. He is the owner and founder of PASOFino Latin Dance Studio and the Atlanta Bachata Fest. He loves to connect with people and always ready with a big smile!
