Let's finish the weekend with a great party! Portland Blues and Jazz Dance Society presents a special evening of music and dance at the beautiful Hoku Events on Madison. Early July is always a special time for music and dance in Portland, and we are excited to honor that tradition. 5:00- Blues Dance Class- Instructor Athena Edison Lahm 6:00- Blues Dance Class- Instructor Rachel Stirling 7:00- Zydeco, line dance & waltz- Terri Jo Bonbright Cascade Zydeco 8:00- Live music with Curtis Salgado and Alan Hagar 10:00- DJ Matthew Tsunami All ages welcome Admission- Cash (Please have exact change) or Card at the door $10 per dance class $20 for the social dance/ concert $30 all day pass Volunteer opportunities available No one turned away for lack of funds The Portland Blues & Jazz Dance Society is a 501c non-profit organization that has been coordinating events that celebrate the spirit of Blues & Jazz in Portland since 2008.
