June 7 Ballroom Time Sunday Afternoon Dance

Sunday, June 7 - Dance all your ballroom favorites to LIVE music! 2:45 pm Beginner lesson in Tango (included with admission) 3:30 - 6:00 pm Live music for dancing by the illustrious OLDE VIENNA with Alexander Mitchell (viola/violin), Elke Baker (viola/violin), Susan Brandt (flute), Dave Wiesler (piano), and Ralph Gordon (string bass) (DJ music will play during the intermisson) The music covers a variety of ballroom dance styles: Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Samba, Salsa/Mambo, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Merengue, and more. During the afternoon there will be a mixer and optional line dancing whenever a Samba plays. No partner needed, all are welcome. Admission: $20 at the door (cash or credit card). $10 for full-time students, students enrolled in our Thursday evening dance classes, and active-duty military.
