Join us at the Madison Circus Space for a month of swing dancing instruction! ⏱️6:30-7:45PM: Level 1 - Charleston Fundamentals 📍Location: Lower Studio Prerequisites: None Instructor(s): TBA Cost: $40 The Charleston is the forerunner to Lindy Hop and is a blast to do once you learn the basics. Come and dance with us as we introduce you to the footwork and the techniques to let your Charleston shine both solo and partnered– and don’t be afraid to get warm doing it! This class is a prerequisite for many other Jumptown classes. No partner or experience required. ⏱️8:00-9:00PM: Level 2 - Rhythm & Musicality 📍Location: Lower Studio Prerequisites: 6-count and 8-count Lindy Fundamentals Instructor(s): TBA Cost: $40 In this class, we’ll play with feeling the difference between our basic footwork patterns and develop the technique to confidently move between them. We'll explore moves that work in both 6- and 8-count Lindy Hop and practice changing between them to fit the music. 📅Class dates: June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th All students are requested to sign our waiver (https://jumptownswing.com/) and the waiver for Madison Circus Space (https://madisoncircusspace.com/) for 2026.
