Workshop Program: 11:45 check in 12:00pm - 1:00pm Class 1: Joshua's Jazz Class 1:15pm - 2:15pm Class 2: Adam's Jazz Class 2:15 - 3:15pm Lunch/Coffee Break 3:15pm - 5:15pm Joint Class with Adam and Josh End of Day About Class Material: Both Adam and Josh believe strongly in a foundation of historical movement, musicianship, improvisation, and self expression as the building blocks of great Jazz dancers. We will ask you to use all of these skills throughout the day. This includes, improv, small choreographies, possible group rhythm exercises and call and response. About Levels: All classes are "Open Level" since you will be dancing on your own. The expectation is that you have taken dance classes before and are ready to work at the pace of the group. For some this may be more challenging and for others less, but for these 4 hours we will be a team; Open to taking risks, supporting one another and growing together in a judgment free and supportive environment. About our Classroom Space: All of our classes and workshops are welcoming to all people who want to learn to dance to swing and jazz music.
