***ITALIAN VERSION*** WHAT’S THE K?....KARIPANDE! 4° EDIZIONE 1° Festival Italiano della Cultura Angolana dal 20 al 23 aprile 2016 Karipande: Il festival delle emozioni… così è stato rinominato da partecipanti ed artisti il Primo Festival Italiano della Cultura Angolana: Avrà luogo a Terni: una gradevole città immersa nel cuore verde d’Italia, l’Umbria, che ritrova il suo simbolo nella splendida cascata delle Marmore, conosciuta come la città degli innamorati, essendo San Valentino il suo Patrono e ad un’ora di macchina sia da Roma che da Perugia e a due da Firenze. KARIPANDE, in Angola, è il luogo simbolo della gioventù e questo festival sarà un omaggio a tutti i giovani del mondo che con grande energia stanno divulgando la cultura angolana. L’obiettivo sarà quello di ampliare e valorizzare i temi che ci caratterizzano: seminari culturali e workshop che spazieranno dalla musica al ballo, agli usi e costumi, cibi e tradizioni dell’Angola e avremo con noi i maggiori esponenti del panorama kizombeiro internazionale. In questo festival avremo il mix perfetto fra tradizione ed evoluzione; l’alta professionalità dello staff artistico saranno la garanzia del livello e dell’autenticità delle materie trattate. It will take place in Terni: a small pleasant town in the middle of Italy's green heart, Umbria, which has his symbol in the magnificent Marmore falls, known as the city of lovers, being Saint Valentine his patron saint, one hour drive away from Rome and Perugia and two hours from Florence. KARIPANDE in Angola is the place that symbolize youth and this festival will be a prize to the young people around the world that with great energy are promoting the Angolan Culture. The aim of Karipande 2016 is to broaden and build on the themes that characterized us: cultural seminars and workshops dividing time between music, dance, customs, food and traditions of Angola in collaboration with the top representatives of the international kizomba scene. In this festival we will see the perfect mix of tradition and evolution; the high professionalism of the artistic staff will be the guarantee of the level and authenticity of the covered subjects. Location: The festival will be held in the conference center of the Garden Hotel surrounded by green and located just outside the city centre. It is modern and comfortable and benefit from a strategic position. The wide spaces with air conditioning will be the perfect location for our workshops and parties. There will be an additional large room added to host more workshops. Each room will have it’s own stage to allow participants greater visibility.
