We are super excited to announce Karol Tatiana Aka-Maracas and Zweli Barton 2 hours Bachata Challenge at the ARIZONA DANCE ADDICTION 2016 with performance (optional) on Sunday June 19th, 2016. What to expect? A dynamic, non-stop fun and interactive 2 hours of learning and laughting. This duo of world-class instructors and performers are known for capturing people's attention and maintaining it throughout their presence. About Karol and Zweli Karol and Zweli, Directors at The Los Angeles Franchise of multiple time World Champion Dance Company, Alma Latina. The southern California natives teach at clubs and events throughout California and perform at events all over the West Coast. They've been featured artists at festivals throughout the United States, Mexico, Dominican Republic and France just to name a few. Their eclectic backgrounds range from classical/technical training to urban/contemporary immersion to Afro Latin indulgences which allows them to infuse their classes with a multitude of perspectives and perform with unique intentions. They pride themselves on effectively fusing salsa and Bachata with hip hop, jazz funk and their own unique styles while maintaining the essence of the genre but maintain the versatility to teach the genres they fuse individually to give credence to the origins of each dance.
