Karukera Kizomba

Join us at The Pottery Bar in Kingston upon Thames, for Karukera, an evening of kizomba classes and dancing. Karukera features multi-award winning international kizomba teacher Christian Jean-Francois, winner of the LUKAS award for 'Kizomba teacher of the year' 2015 and Kizomba Link's 'Best Male Kizomba Teacher' 2011. We are also excited to announce that DJ Sousa will be joining us to play uninterrupted kizomba, semba, zouk, ghettozouk and tarraxa for the social dancing after the classes. VENUE The Pottery Bar 20 Park Road Kingston upon Thames KT2 6BE TIME 6.45-8.30pm Kizomba classes - prompt start at advertised time 8.30-11.00pm Social dancing to uninterrupted kizomba, zouk, semba, ghettozouk and tarraxa from DJ Sousa CLASSES 6.45-7.30pm Kizomba fundamentals 7.40-8.30pm Improvers/Intermediate *Please note that classes will start promptly at the advertised time in order to ensure that we have a full 2.5 hours for the social after the classes* PRICE £10 classes and social (£6 for students showing a valid NUS card on the door) £5 social only GETTING HERE By car: Free on street parking is available on Sundays on roads surrounding the venue - please check local signage. Public transport: Train: 8 minute walk from Norbiton Station (0.4 miles), and 13 minute walk from Kingston Train Station (0.7 miles) Buses: Stops close to venue.
