Workshop descriptions: Workshop 1 Our first workshop is from 10:00 to 11:15. This workshop is for men. Demis, from Cuba, will teach men style, body posture and footwork, which will be implemented later on at the Experimental workshop. Demis has his own school in Flensburg and has been arranging and participating in many dance events. Workshop 1 - Men style (salsa) 150kr Workshop 2 The second workshop will be Kizomba from 11:25 to 12:55 with Ben Kizomba and Yanet Céspedes. Ben was the first person to introduce Kizomba (both the dance and the music) to the salsa scene in Hamburg and the north of Germany. During this workshop we will focus on musicality, and on the saidas (footwork). So get ready to play a bit! Workshop 2 - Kizomba 200kr Workshop 3 At 13:30 we will continue with our third workshop “Sensual Bachata” until 15:00. Demis and Yanet, will focus on the sensuality that is at the core of the bachata - how to lead for the guys and how to follow and bring out the sensual and feminine side for the ladies. Simple and useful turns will be learned. Workshop 3 - Sensual bachata 200kr Workshop 4 Last, but not least, we will finish our workshops experimenting. We believe that this is what dancers would like to do. Take all the different dance styles we have in our backpack and mix them. The base will be the salsa, but combined with different styles of music and dance we will experiment and make a nice and fun fusion. We will not teach a lot of new complicated turns - rather, the focus will be on communication and the “play” that should exist between the couple dancing. This workshop will take place from 15:15 to 16:45. Yanet & Adan will give this workshop. What do they have in common? Their blood, their nation and their passion, La Perla Experience. Workshop 4 - Experimental 200 kr Note: All workshops will have an intermediate level. However, depending on the ability of the participants for learning fast we may go a bit more advanced.
