🎉Kiz Lounge 7th Anniversary Special 🎉 Tarraxo Workshop w Aleksandra and Party w DJ Maximiliaan

On 23rd August 2016 Urban Kiz UK, founded by Angel Nkiru partnered with The Latin Collective to deliver the first two-room Salsa/Bachata and Urban Kiz Weekly event in London. Kiz Lounge is proud to be celebrating 7 Years and still going strong! Our ETHOS has always been to provide the platform and the training ground for UK teachers, DJs and dancers to achieve their full potential and contribute to the goal of Urban Kiz UK which was to build an Urban Kiz dance community in London and contribute to the growth within the UK. The Kiz Kollective teaching team, has been fundamental to keeping this night alive over the past seven years and the driving force behind the development of London dancers. They continue to spread their passion throughout the UK and abroad. This event is part one of two special events celebrating the 7th Anniversary of Kiz Lounge and the 8th Anniversary of Urban Kiz UK. On the 22nd August, we will switch things up for one night only! We are excited to organise the first Tarraxo workshop at Kiz Lounge! Room 1 - Salsa & Bachata will continue to run in the main room as usual run by Latin Collective. Room 2 - Tarraxo Workshop (no Urban Kiz Classes) What is Tarraxo? Tarraxo, originated in Paris and has become very popular in Europe and steadily growing across the UK. Aleksandra is an international Tarraxo teacher certified by Gwany & Liliana, who is growing the Tarraxo community in London and UK. Schedule First hour 7.30pm & second hour 8.40pm This 2 hour intro workshop will cover: 📌Steps and technique of Tarraxo, focusing on mechanical body movement and isolation, 📌Leading & following technique in Tarraxo and 📌Musicality. The workshop is open to ALL LEVELS complete beginners, as well as those who already dance Tarraxo but want to level up their skills 💥 Party 9:45pm to 1am We'll be joined by 🔸🎧 DJ Maximiliaan🔸 For the second time at Kiz Lounge and we are excited to have him back. She trained in Urban Kiz and Tarraxo in Poland and France, attending various workshops and festivals from world class teachers and teaches tarraxo UK and internationally. She has a versatile dance background (salsa, ballroom, hip hop) and is passionate about teaching technique and body movement.
