The Studio is proud to have a guest artist from Australia, Zey Branco (Zé Casimiro Branco) join us for this Easter edition of Kizchata! Focus will be on flavour, movement and making you flow on the dance floor. We will combine movements and tricks that will compliment your social dances skills. Fees: $25 includes Party Entry About the Artist - Zey Branco www.dkfever.com Having grown up from humble beginnings, Zey was exposed to the social aspect and culture of Kizomba from an early age. Born in Mozambique (Africa) and traveling between Angola as a child really set the passion for what was later to become what he loves today. In his words; in 1998 I attended a social gathering with family members when I watched my cousins from Mozambique dance, their moves were fluid and flawless gliding on the dance floor and connecting to the music. From that day I fell in love with this dance called Kizomba. Since 2014 Zey has attended many bootcamps, festivals and teachers seminars both in Australia and Portugal having completed training with ALC, Eddy Vents, Albir to name afew. He has also taught International workshops in India, Singapore and East Timor and continues to travel teach and learn within Australia and around the world. Having pioneered the Kizomba scene in Darwin, Zey also organises events and workshops to keep the love for this beautiful dance and its culture growing.
