Kizomba and Semba workshops with Vasco

We are proud to announce Djks Vasco will be conducting workshops in Perth on on the 2nd and 3rd of January 2016. Time to Tarraxinha away the Turkey and start the new year will a smile, some great music and some new skills to show off at the inaugural NYE Afro-Latin Party where our special guest will be DJing. DJKS Vasco, world renowned Dancer, Instructor, AfricAdancar finalist, DJ and all round nice guy. If you have seen or heard about him you would know that his amazing energy is infectious, which along with a extensive dance and instruction career and intrinsic knowledge of music and musicality means these workshops will change your dancing forever! These workshops will be all about taking it back to the roots! De Angola! ---------------------------------- SATURDAY 02JANUARY 2016 12:00 KIZOMBA OPEN WORKSHOP Cost: $30 Open level Workshop will work on creating a solid foundation. This workshop is perfect for those wanting to delve into the intricacies of the Kizomba hold, weight transfer and touching on leading & following. If you have ever wondered what Kizomba is at it core, this is a Workshop not to be missed!! 1:15pm SEMBA OPEN WORKSHOP Cost: $30 Open level workshop will have an emphasis on Semba foundations including the different holds, basics and Flow. Also an introduction to the different types of Semba and their music. If you have ever felt that you need to break free occasionally on the dance floor, then this is the class for you! All Saturday workshops: $55 ----------------------------------- SUNDAY 03JANUARY 2016 12:00 - SEMBA (Intermediate) WORKSHOP Cost: $30 To do this level you must have completed Kizomba Open or Semba Open workshop (02JAN16). In this level we will focus on developing musicality as well as it's intricate partner work with body movement, styling variations, Semba Ginga and a few Semba tricks. All that in 1 hour? Yes, this is why it's essential that you need to have completed one of the previous days workshops. 1:15pm KIZOMBA MASTERCLASS Cost: $40 To do this level you must have completed Beginners Course or Kizomba Fundamentals workshop (02JAN16). FIND YOUR FLOW & UNLOCK YOUR STYLE! In this level we will focus on developing Kizomba musicality, interpreting the music, as well as it's Intricate partner work, finding your Ginga or body movement and the different Styling variations. The purpose of this workshop is to give you the tools and knowledge to create your unique style that still remains true Kizomba.
